Summer sunset jazz cruises launched

Windermere Lake Cruises is launching a special programme of Evening Buffet Cruises this summer, providing visitors with a unique way to soak up the scenery of England’s largest lake.

Guests can enjoy a two and a half hour cruise on a charming vintage ‘steamer’, taking in the region’s spectacular scenery whilst enjoying a refreshing drink or two and a mouth-watering two-course summer buffet.

The acclaimed Trickle Charge will be providing on-board entertainment with music and witty repertoire to suit all ages. There’s even a dance floor on the top deck for those who’d really like to let their hair down!

The Evening Buffet Cruises run every Saturday in June and every Wednesday and Saturday throughout July and August, departing from the bustling town of Bowness at 7pm.

Tickets must be pre-booked and cost £29.75 per adult and £17.00 per child including the two and a half hour trip, band and buffet. Great value family tickets are available for two adults and up to three children at the price of £85.00. There is a discount of £1.00 per person for groups of 12 adults or more and the organiser can sail completely free of charge!
