Real-Time Views From Windermere
We have 3 Webcams on Windermere at Ambleside (Waterhead) Pier, our Head Office near Bowness Pier and at Lakeside Pier.
👁️Things to look for on this camera
This webcam is based at Lakeside Pier at the southern tip of Windermere and automatically switches between 4 views:
- 🎞️ View 1 - Facing north towards Bowness and further up Windermere. Watch out for the Yellow Cruise arriving and departing for Bowness.
- 🎞️ View 2 - Facing north-east over Windermere. Look out for the stunning Gummer's Howe (321m high) on the other side of the water.
- 🎞️ View 3 -Facing south-east over Windermere and the National Trust Fell Foot. Watch the many private craft moored up and our little Fell Foot Ferry in the summer months.
- 🎞️ View 4 - Lakeside Pier/Platform for the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. Watch out for steam train arriving/departing during the summer months.
