Great North Swim 2014 - Important travel information

We are pleased to be involved with the 2014 Great North Swim again this year, by providing transport solutions for swimmers and their supporters. Each swimmer/competitor should have received a discount voucher which will entitle them to discount travel between Bowness and Ambleside on Friday 13, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June 2014.
Friday 13 June
Salings depart every 20-30 minutes from 10am from Bowness Pier to Brockhole Pier or Ambleside (both 15 minute walks / 1 mile to the start at Low Wood) . After the event, please return to Bowness from Ambleside Pier, the last sailing departs at 7pm. There are no return sailings from Brockhole Pier.
Saturday 14 June
Salings depart every 20-30 minutes from 7am from Bowness Pier to Brockhole Pier or Ambleside (both 15 minute walks / 1 mile to the start at Low Wood) . After the event, please return to Bowness from Ambleside Pier, the last sailing departs at 7pm. There are no return sailings from Brockhole Pier.
Sunday 15 June
Salings depart every 20-30 minutes from 7am from Bowness Pier to Brockhole Pier or Ambleside (both 15 minute walks / 1 mile to the start at Low Wood) . After the event, please return to Bowness from Ambleside Pier, the last sailing departs at 6.30pm. There are no return sailings from Brockhole Pier.
