Traditional Rowing Boats

Our traditional wooden rowing boats are a Windermere classic and have been a popular choice with tourists for over 100 years.

Further Information

• Each boat is 5 metres in length and has a capacity of 4 persons.
  
• Classic Windermere clinker design - a sight that has been part of the Windermere landscape since the 1800s.
  
• The boats are only available during our peak season (April to October) as they are expertly maintained in our craft workshop during the winter.
  
• The boats are inspected, registered and regulated by South Lakeland District Council.
